What an excellent wine and for me a bit different in that the taste outdid the nose as the nose is the big tell for me. Anyway, the nose had some deep red friuits and a bit of cola. The taste was fruity sweet, in a great way, with deep dark fruits and just so enjoyable drinking it. The finish was long and very satisfying. Oh boy, how do I handle this wine. Having it young was too intense to drink, having at some point later seemed to be over the hill but now thinking that was a flawed bottle. This one was excellent with a ton of dark fruits mainly blackberries, plumbs and others. Also, had some cola and wood notes. Excellent from start to the long finish. Think it could go for some more years but why bother when drinking so great now. This is my last bottle and that’s fine since I’m an old guy and can’t be buying expensive wines that you need to hold for 10 plus years — 4 months ago
