Very nice but not quite at the same level as the one we had a couple years ago. Certainly extremely Bordeaux in terms of typicity. Quite deep ruby , pretty opaque . Quite deeply fruited and slightly spicy oak , dark blackberry , blackcurrant , with a grafite , wet slate touch. Quite a bit of grip on the palate with blackberry , spicy blackcurrant , dark cherry . More mineral and dense on the palate , quite good acidity, touch of sweet oak. Decent length with no warmth or sweetness from the alcohol. Quite serious , slightly austere perhaps but balanced and actually quite refreshing. Drink from now over the next 5-10 years .
