Wowza, this really over-delivered for $20: inky no sign of age on rim, effusive dark fruit, brooding ripe black & blue berried mingled with spices, cocoa, dried herbs, minerals, hoisin - blind I would have guessed Mourvèdre from Southern France. Great extract & density of flavors on nose & mid palate, cut a broad swath, smooth rich, finely grained tannins balanced seamlessly. Bit less acidity than Mencia from Bierzo, but enough for the smoked ribs devoured alongside this gem. — 3 months ago

Nov 2024: very young at 7 years, took more than an hour in decanter to open up. Promising a great potential, hold and wait 5 years at least — 3 months ago

A straightforward but good Tempranillo - earthy, spice, smoke, good fruit extraction, and the oak is noticeable, but enough acidity to balance it out. — 8 months ago

Bountiful of red berries and cranberries no both aromas and taste. Powerful and rich body structure. Well-balanced, round tannins, bright acidity. Long finish and enticing texture. — 9 days ago
