This incredible sparkling wine is unbelievable! I visited this wonderful vineyard in 2013. The hue of rose’ is almost pale salmon. It’s medium to full body flavor is off the charts delicious. A touch of mineral and fabulous fruit. At the mid palate there is a heartiness I can’t quite figure out. This can rival any and every pink and brut champagne in the world. Another excellent vintage of this Alsatian classic. Blend of Gewurtztraminer (30%), Pinot Gris (24%), Riesling (19%), Sylvaner (18%), Pinot Blanc (6%) and Muscatel (3%). Pale yellow color with light green highlights. Fresh aromas and flavors of green apple, Asian pear, white flowers, quince, lemon and tropical fruit. Touch of spice on the long, nutty and crisp finish. Medium bodied and well balanced. Bracing acidity, nice structure and bone dry. So fresh and clean. Thanks for the glass, Chris B! — 9 months ago

Blend of 96% Sauv Blanc with 4% Sauv Gris adding an interesting dynamic to the wine & distinctive aromas (prior to ‘18 vintage some Semillon added). Pale lemon color, citrus, tropical & floral aromas. On the palate peach, melon, herb & earthy tones, well balanced with acidity, smooth yet robust on a long finish ending rich with wet stone character. Good value! A Fav!! Very consistent! — 4 years ago
