1999: Yeah. Outstanding 25-year old Barolo still an explosion of Nebbiolo flavor. Brick color but plenty of depth, with strawberry fruit well-balanced by typical leather and tar. A treat now, and wouldn’t wait any longer. — 6 months ago
Drinking beautifully in a difficult year — 2 months ago
This is gorgeous. A soft edged nose with red and black cherry, dried roses. On the palate this is gorgeous and soft. The fruit is delicate and focused. Tobacco and soft wood notes come through later in the midpalate. Very classy and in great shape right now. — 3 years ago

Incredible. With this age it starts to become drinkable. A big boy. But elegant at this stage. — 10 months ago
Wonderful wine still vibrant like an old Bordeaux but an ahhso would have been helpful — 3 years ago
Tom Casagrande
Old-school hint of barnyard funk in the nose. Not enough for any concern, and it plays nicely with tangy, zingy macerated cherry and spice. A bit of crushed stone. Rapier-like acids propel the fruit along. Tannins are very soft. (Thanks to my brother @Angelo Casagrande for the gift!) — a month ago
