2014. Enjoyed a small splash at the end of a great birthday meal at The Oven!

Light, nice sipping wine — 7 years ago
Light reddish in color with medium intensity.
Fruity nose and medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel.
Showing raspberries, fresh cherries, light tobacco leaf, herbs, peppercorn, earth, and chocolate notes.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious Grenache from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Still young, but already easy drinking and very approachable. Rich and powerful, elegant and nicely balanced. Complex and entertaining.
Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime. Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years.
A nice sipping wine that will also pair nicely with food.
100% Grenache grapes from 100 year old vines, were aged for 18 months in French oak barrels and concrete vats. A small production of less than 3,500 bottles.
15% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

The 2004 at 15-years of age is still youthful! Well balanced as always, just a wonderful blend, love the fruit with tea notes, oak is fully integrated in the wine pure silk! Held up well against Harlan, Scarecrow, Morlet, Hall, & Rudd Cabs. Just a. Lass act! — 7 years ago
Initially tightly wound and pretty slow to get going, but it makes a big change after a sufficient decant and begins to show what La Mouline is all about. Pure class and elegance with seductive and complex aromatics of red berry fruit, bacon fat, campfire smoke and fresh violets. The palate is expansive with killer intensity, a velvety texture and a long and vibrant finish. Last sips were the best. This is still young. — 5 years ago
A slightly stinky front. Then real deep clarity of raspberry fruit. There’s a gentle luscious center of hauntingly pure aged fruit (dried roses, soft cherry?) leading into the end palate. Really lucid. Delicious. — 7 years ago
