Very yummy. Smells of bubble gum and red licorice. Paid nicely with a homemade Hostess Cupcake cookie. A lite spice, but full body fruit with plum aftertaste. — 7 months ago
So Delicious! Blackberries, blueberries, cherry liquor, black licorice, eucalyptus. Graphite, vanilla, earth, great long finish! I opened this early, it could benefit from a few more years! I have justification for opening this! I just found out that my son proposed, officially engaged! — 3 years ago
Medium Ruby color with aromas of red fruits, cedar, floral herbs and mineral spice. On the palate flavors of sweet cherry and strawberry with notes of tea, herbs and pepper spice. Full-bodied, fine savory tannins, long finish ending with fruit, herb and a savory earthy character. Nice! — 2 months ago
Nice easy drinking Zinfandel. — 9 months ago
Nose of raisins and licorice. First sip was too oaky for me, but I hate tasting any oak. With food , much nicer. Nice rounded fruit, mouthfeel. With a buzz, even better! Score keeps going up. Blend is 58% carignane, 23 Grenache, 15 Syrah, and 4 petite sirah. — 3 years ago
Softened, earthy spices with a velvety mouth feel. Tannins notable, yet not overpowering. A beautiful complement to panko encrusted lamb with anchovy butter. — 5 months ago
Mourvèdre Madness Monday. Common threads: tart blackberry, characteristic rustic meatiness/ferrous quality and reduction.
Mataro from Zin master Joel Peterson. Richest, most forward and fullest bodied of the bunch by far. Extracted but balanced. Tannins are plush and wooly. Fresh violets, smoke and licorice. — 3 years ago
