Blackberry, oak, leather, cinnamon, and prune. Very fruity for something so bold, dark, and earthy. — 22 days ago

Dismissed by many as too jammy or too ripe, I’ve always thought this is the fun bottling. This ‘21 is no exception. Beneath the slightly over extracted ripe dark fruits lies quite complex aromas and flavors of figs, sweet spices, dark chocolate, smoke meat, and hint of balsamic. Rich palate but not overbearing. In a good vintage like ‘21, this can benefit for 5-8 years of bottle age.
My guilty pleasure. — a month ago
Rich and luscious. Blackberries, cocoa, and a hint of pepper. Fabulous bouquet and a satisfying finish. — 21 days ago
Diora Pinot Noir from Monterey. Rich depth of black fruit nuances from Santa Lucia Highlands. Decanted to let it open up. Very enjoyable. — 20 days ago

Picked up a 2012 at Wine House for $60 on 12/21/2024
One of the best wines I’ve tasted all year especially in the sub $100 price range
Smells like fertilizer and funk (in a good way) but tastes like blackberries and cherries with hints of soil — a day ago
