Costco. Prior to aerating properly this was a little drying and oaky, and this wasn’t so good. However, following a bit of time to breathe and aerate, this was very enjoyable. Fruits and redcurrant and cherries came out, with a bit of an oaky dryness on the finish but not too significant. — 22 days ago
Surprise find at restaurant. Past its prime, but always fun to try older bottle and explore vintages never has before. — 24 days ago
Half bottle on sale at hotel (Hyatt Centric Arlington) for $15. Rather nice! Bought to drink with a Thai curry. We’ll see how it stands up. Happy to drink on its own- will look for a full bottle to buy — 12 days ago

1/2hour decant(decent fine/cloudy sediment). A striking still dark ruby red color with some bricking. On the nose: dark fruit, campfire, leather, black olives, floral. Taste: smooth, elegant, lush mouthcoating wine with blackberry/dark plum, dark chocolate, coffee, minerals, little tobacco, and a smokey graphite medium plus finish. YUM! In a nice place with a few more years to go. — 13 days ago
I really like what Evening Land does in general and their Pinots in particular. Lovely nose with some good cherry. Balanced mouthfeel with good dark red fruit and some nice herby notes. Acid is medium but works well to hold it together and the persistence is good. Really quite enjoyable. — a month ago

2023 vintage. Slightly sweeter than remembered previous vintages yet still more than worthy. A fave OR winery and this particular wine (at least in SoCal) translates into their most affordable red. Medium/medium-heavy bod. 03.12.25. — a day ago
