Shades of dull purple, a bit cloudy, and a bit copper tone on the rim. Nose of nice ripe black cherry, strawberry, aldehyde, vanilla, spice, smooth in the nasal cavity, and hint of oak note. Nose is good and mature. Taste follows the nose with addition of mature tannins, slightly sweet, and tasty. Aftertaste is medium and mellow. Peak time now. Enjoy her now. — 6 years ago
Nice Saint Emmilion. Fruty with roast aromas. Nice wine. — 8 years ago
Yes yes yes. I know I’m like a kid with a cup of hit chocolate, but I just love sweet wines. Hints of citrus. But if acid balances the sweetness really well. Paired best with bold blue cheese than more gentle flavors. — 9 years ago
Smooth with that perfect red wine robust taste you want. — 9 years ago

Great French rose. — 6 years ago
2018 vintage. Good example of oaked Sauv Blanc blend (even says "elevé en fûts de chêne" on the label). 70-20-10 SB, Sémillon, Muscadelle. Lemon meringue, dill, a little coconut, banana peel, sunflower seed, dandelion. Oak is definitely overt, but well-integrated. — 6 years ago
Exceptional! A bright acidity kicks in right out of the gate followed up by a mellowing and diffusion with light citrus and mineral notes. The finish is clean and even. — 8 years ago
Disney Sequoia Lodge. Decent St Emillion. Deep, slight leathery feel, deep plum and black fruits. Smooth drinking and opened up with a bit of airing. — 2 years ago
Decent Bordeaux, I’d probably buy again, but would age it. Paired nicely with T-bone steaks and okay with dark chocolate. Strawberries, coffee and soil or wood are our taste and smelling notes. — 4 years ago
Wine Awesome. Smooth and delicious.

This sauv Blanc blend is out of sight esp for the price — 7 years ago
Good vintage to be drunk for a CB, complex nose with leather, wood, and amazing black fruits. Great cost per value. — 8 years ago
Hits every note a "natural wine" should hit. Like I almost feel manipulated. Light nice young acidity a bit of fuzz at the start dark fruit earth with a little barnyard funk but without much depth. I almost feel manipulated especially at the price point. A great wine to freak your parents out without breaking the bank. Tastes like a diffusion line or if muji made a "natural wine". Nothing but love though at $20 will definitely bring to a party to maintain a facade of being a natural wine guy — 9 years ago

Chateau Tour Saint Joseph Cru Bourgeois Haut Médoc 2012, Bordeaux, France
It is time for some Merlot on this #MerlotThursday. Let's bring Merlot back!
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Beautiful nose of black currants, plums, rhubarb, cooked cherries, light wood, spices, dark chocolates, black pepper and licorice.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cherries, oak, spices, chocolates, tobacco leaf, coffee, licorice, peppercorn, earth and herbs.
Short finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.
This 13 year old Merlot based blend from Bordeaux is still drinking nicely, although will not last long. Easy drinking and complex.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 30 minutes of airtime. I really enjoyed the nose once it opened up.
A good food wine that paired nicely with the charcuterie board.
A blend of 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.
$25 (current vintage). — 8 months ago
