When somebody recommends a bottle of wine... you should listen.
Having this at São João Do Porto. — 2 years ago
Rich cherry and black currant nose. Color is purple with a watery thin edge. In the mouth it is not as sweet as the nose is. There is a rather fresh acidity bringing balance. It will be accompanied by the veal cheeks and mash. Looking forward to that.
As the bottle was opened anyhow to use a glass in the stew we already started tasting 😉. — 4 years ago
Big wine for a relatively small price. Do yourself the favour. The 2014 vintage was wonderful in 2020. — 4 years ago
Smooth and balanced. Enjoyable with and without food, which is something that not all wines from Dão do. — 5 years ago
2011 and still a couple of years to go. Very fruity but dry. Crazy freshness for a 13 year old white. Love it. — 7 months ago
With portugaise cheese and saucissons.. looking at the sunset of Porto!
Amazing! So good! — a year ago
Damn damn damn. If you can get your hands on one of these do it stat. Amazinggggggg. The douro grape is amazing that we had with cacio e pepe. A red when poured that when you look at it you know this is going to take you to another place. When you take that first sip, the taste of freshness. Seriously I could drink this all night — 3 years ago

Opaque ruby red. Moderately dry, acid low. 14% alcohol. Easy going tannins. Light warm baking spices. Violets and dark bitter chocolate. Dark berries. Mild black coffee. Balanced.
