N:Almonds, brine, rancio, gentle.
P: seashore brine, slight barrel, really devoid of fruit till the finish. Lemon/pith jumps up.says hello! Bright! A very nice fino indeed. Middle-upper class.

At the Downs Club Magnum Dinner and this was a great way to finish the evening with a Magnum of Warres VP. Just a medium ruby in colour. Typical burnt rancio notes. Resolved tannins and spirit - drinking beautifully at its peak. Drink or hold for a few more years. — 7 years ago

These old Vintage Ports from the likes of Lindemans live forever. Rancio spirity aromas with dried fruit raisin notes. A thick mouthfeel - goes to all corners - of profound intensity. Notes of cough medicine which is not unusual. Will still be going strong in a decade or two. — 6 years ago
