Big time red fruits. Cherry cola. Juicy with a dry finish. Banger with Lambrusco vibes. — 2 years ago
The best Regent in Germany? I think so! Rich nose of cassis, raspberry, raspberry coulis, wild mint, exotic spice. Wet earth and extraordinary minerality. Love Max with serious red grapes that are heavy-ish. He does wonders also with Merlot. Palate is fresh, rich and dynamic. Amazing fruit density and purity. Wow some major tiny berry fruit intensity. Unreal sweetness and velvety tannins. Really sleek and well made. Liquid red velvet cake. Awesome concentration and freshness. For a wine this rich it’s remarkably fresh. Love this.
UPDATE: Beautiful nose today. Great improvement overnight. Floral, complex. Spacious. The huge fruit is not as intense and it’s really pretty. Palate is structured and deep. Really fine. Really elegant. Clean. This has vastly improved. 9.4 now. — 4 years ago

Superb dark almost black Czech beer. Hop undertones and chocolate and coffee notes that compliment the standout malt finish. — 4 years ago
NV Series No. 001. This was one of the collaboration wines made with their sister winery Old Westminster. Cabernet Sauvignon soaked for three days on Burnt Hill Regent pomace then blended with 15% Estate Merlot and aged in a large ash foudre. Dark fruit and spice and paired exceptionally well with a delicious dark chocolate crémeux! — a month ago

Clear, pale ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with medium intensity primary and secondary aromas of raspberries, violets, and dried leaves; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, light body, and medium intensity primary and secondary flavors of cloves, tart cherries, strawberries, and cranberries with a long finish. This wine is complex, moderately intense, and with balanced fruit and acidity. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie likes it. — 13 days ago
