No notes—height of elegance and class, incredibly impressive Etna — 4 months ago
Perhaps the best [young] white wine I’ve ever tasted. Carricante is unique and delicious. — 6 months ago
You’ve got to be kidding me. A 2007 Salvo Foti wine. A museum piece. Wonderful Etna Rosso minerals, herbs, deep red fruit. Thank you Alex, for finding and gifting it. — a year ago
Really loving this hearty (deappellated) Etna Rosso with cavatelli smothered in lamb & beef ragout. A little tannic and stilted at first. This is a wine that needs food and a bit of of time after opening to relax and unfold. So many layers here: Carob, bay laurel, baked tomato, dried Mountmorency cherries, a touch of smoke/ash. Rustic, yet polished and sophisticated. — 18 days ago
Salvo Foti delivers as always. — 5 months ago
apricot / quince / laurel — 2 months ago
Volcanic Etna minerals, mountain herb, citrus, saline. Heaven. Colorful memories of visiting the winery and meeting one of the winenakers 3 years ago in Milo, Sicily — 2 months ago
Superb, by Sicilian and Etna icon, Salvo Foti in partnership with Sonoma’s Aeris/Rhys — 6 months ago

One of the best red wines have had in years. So complex but also so poundable. — 16 days ago
