Light ruby color. Aromas of strawberry, cherry, and vanilla. The palate is smoky and spicy with fine tannins. The alcohol is a bit prominent. — 4 months ago
Pretty light medium ruby , wide pink rim. Lightly spiced , strawberry and raspberry , quite sweet. On the palate this has a slightly more savoury element , with some raspberry , red cherry hints and a touch of toasty , herbal notes . Balanced acidity and light tannins , ok length and a star anise tinged finish . Drink now and over the next few years . — 13 days ago
Wow, this took a while to open up. Definitely started off with almost a sour note to it, and I was a little worried. The bottle was past its prime. However, after a good 30 minutes of allowing it to breathe, he really got some good herbal and forest floor notes among cool fruit with a nice structure that wasn’t flabby or overly processed. Got basically a horizontal tasting of this and the other sub regions of this producer and I’m excited to see what the other ones bring. — 2 months ago

Sourced from La Rinconada vineyard, medium lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach, lemon citrus and honey notes, complex with mineral tones and vanilla oak notes. Ok balance, screaming acidity, medium+ finish ending with fruit and earthy mineral character. Drink now! A bit pricey! — 3 days ago
Probably my favorite Sanford Pinot. — 7 days ago
Very nice bubbly from Sanford. It’s rich, full bodied for a sparkler, and complex. Floral and yeasty aromas. Brioche and tartness on the bud. — 3 months ago

Sipping Fine Wine
A blend from Sanford & Benedict and La Rinconada vineyards, aged for 11 months in 25% new French oak, medium lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits and nutty floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, pear, lemon citrus zest and melon, complex with mineral tones and soft creamy oak adding sweet spice. The wine was fresh and vibrant with crisp acidity, well balanced on a long finish ending with fruit and mineral character. Nice, drink now! — 3 days ago
