@Anthony De Blasi, you say Ravenswood is sold at your local shop (and I apologize last night for not realizing you’re in Belgium) — note that the really inexpensive Ravenswood Zin is just so-so, try one of the single vineyard to get a better feel.

2019 vintage. Oak attack if served above 65 degrees. Def essential to get that temp down to the 55-64 range so as to conduct pleasant conversation. Otherwise, it’s just screaming/noise. Previous vintage exhibited the same tendency whereas 2017 and before generally didn’t (to this extreme). Hoping it’s not trending that direction but suspect it is. Mount Eden Cabernet clone from the old Cinnabar property. Most people don't know this clone has Château Margaux origins. This cab and the Mount Eden Estate (and the old old Mount Eden Reserve Old Vine d.1992) with those Margaux subtleties on dry-farmed slopes? Uhh duh. Sign my ass(ets) up posthaste.
