Pretty good. A lot of earth, berries on the nose. Baking spice, more earth and herbs. But fruit shows throughout. Way better in day 2 of being open. — a month ago
This bottle was opened several hours prior to service and enjoyed over the course of four days. Best on Day 4. The 2022 Peterson Family Vineyard pours, an inky purple color with an opaque core, moving towards a magenta rim; medium+ viscosity with significant staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of black cherry, black plum, lavender pastels, smoked meat, dry earth, Madagascar vanilla and fine baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and silky. The alcohol is high…but remarkably in balance. Still, this is an enormous wine and while it’s really well made, it’s something I wouldn’t be able to drink often. Drink now through 2042. — 2 months ago

Ruby brick color. Aroma of sour cherries. Dusty sour cherries with a hint of sweet raspberries. Then fades to an earthiness tannic finish. Old world style! — a month ago
Great everyday drinking wine especially for the price. A little bit of a dry finish. — 2 months ago
Still gorgeous. — 7 days ago
Medium Ruby color with aromas of red fruits, cedar, floral herbs and mineral spice. On the palate flavors of sweet cherry and strawberry with notes of tea, herbs and pepper spice. Full-bodied, fine savory tannins, long finish ending with fruit, herb and a savory earthy character. Nice! — a month ago

This is the kind of NZ Sauvignon Blanc I love! Fruity and fresh. — 6 days ago
