White flower aromas lead with notes of honey and toasted almonds. Hint of baking spices. Ripe Peach, melon and lemon fruit dominate the pallet with a hint of pie dough and those baking spices. Straw gold color. Aromas of white flowers, honey, oats and pie dough. Peach, cantaloupe and lemon on the palate with hints of toasted nuts and baking spice. Lovely creamy texture and a long lingering (and slightly funky) finish. Medium-light bodied. Crisp with well balanced acidity. — 3 months ago
This is a great wine. It’s not one of the best wines on earth. But it’s one of my favorites. Especially in 21. 95 on open. Hits 96 an hour in. The aromatics improve and take it over the top.
Nose: sweet minerals. Sweet fresh ocean breeze. Some lemon flower. White flowers. My wife says white lilies.
Palate: sweet fruit. Magnificent so delicious. A kiss of richness. Balanced. Juicy. Bright. Gorgeous internal aromatics. Still that chablisien feel.
