This was sailing… meaty nose of rich burnt ends coupled with plum jam. Palate was viscous and mineral driven. S little too much acidity with a slightly citrus finish. Nice juxtaposition with the Siro, but this was always destined for second place tonight. — 6 months ago
Green apple, pinch of mint, tobacco, cherries in aroma. Ripe plums, pinch of lime and strawberries at palate. Acidity is moderate to high, well balanced, not rounded, but feels like nice matured. Very noble as for rosso di montalcino. Nice to accomplish with red meat. — 13 days ago
Very good structure and balance. Good value — 3 years ago
No formal notes. Sweet mix of black/red fruit, ripe yet assertive tannins, nice mid-palate juice, leathery. Structured and quiet now, shows potential. — 5 years ago
This was singing last night. Nice nose of mature cherries and spice box. Mid palate displays density and weight. Packed with ripe cherries and a hint of tobacco, complemented with a moderate tannin structure. Oak treatment was in the background. Finished with length and a hint of soft brown sugar. Acidity is still prominent so I assume you could continue to hold this for another 7 years with ease. — 6 months ago

2016 vintage. Decanted with zero sed. Tasted after 20 minutes. In a great place (as are a majority of the 2016 Brunellos). Synthesis of tannins, fruit, verve and love. Dropped some of the overt body and starting to get chiseled. Watch out for those abs. 08.03.25. — 18 days ago
