Really a lovely langhe Nebbiolo. Opened 6 hours before serving but no decant. With a slight chill it was delicious. Definitely recognizable as Nebbiolo, mouth filling in the right ways, excellent pairing with pork tenderloin with mustard/rosemary/fennel/garlic. — 3 months ago

N: Salty stone fruit, lil’ bit of pineapple, rocks, sand, something vegetal.
P: Cel-Ray, yep, pineapple, underripe nectarines, peach, no full bore fruit here.
Austere. Nicely light 12.5° and refreshing. With time in glass, this fleshes out, becomes much more round.

Orange rind, tar, tobacco, tea, green and oolong, floral and confectionery, super complex nose. Stunning. 9.7. Soft and sweet but also super structured and tannic. So linear and so pure. Finish is slightly clipped. Good concentration, freshness and depth. So clean. — 3 months ago
