The rose not the white blend — really fun, a little effervescent — 6 years ago
Really good. I wonder if they have any more. — 7 years ago
Pale straw lemon color with aromas of tropical fruit, lime citrus and grassy aromas. On the palate flavors of pear and grapefruit with herb notes, vivid acidity. Medium+ finish, ending with fruit, grassy noted and mineral tones. — 2 months ago
Bought this a while ago although the date on it is 08/2023 and I didn’t think it was that long ago. Nose is light. Flavor slightly bitter. Color yellow which could reflect the name. Finish lasts for a while but more on the alcohol side more than anything else. — 9 months ago

High acidity and citrus notes in this pale Pinot rose. Sublte minty aftertaste. Refreshing and soft on the palate, it’s a very approachable and delicious summer wine. — 4 years ago
Deep ruby; medium plus intensity aromas of ripe blackberry, juicy black cherry, dried black currant, black plum, pomegranate, mulberry, tobacco, cigar box ; dry, medium plus acid, medium plus ripe tannins, medium alcohol, full body pronounced intensity flavors consistent with aromas; medium plus finish, quite fruit forward but well balanced, fruit ripe and dried but not jammy, outstanding — 6 years ago

This blend is really nice. I loved it. — 8 years ago
Clear, medium ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of raspberries, hibiscus, and potting soil; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, light body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of cherries, strawberries, and dried leaves with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense with good length. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 6 months ago
Clean, beautiful fruit from Wild Meadow (think M.Shaps)… holding up nicely after eight years… Although the acid has weighed enough to make it difficult for cream based pairing options — 9 months ago
Wow! My cellar aging project scores another ‘discovery’ win. At almost 10 years from harvest, this Nate Walsh built beauty was doing what aged Nebbiolo is supposed to do! Using Horton fruit (Orange, Va), this bottle has metamorphosed into a seductive herbal-rose tea. It’s acidity is almost non-detectable, yet it was the perfect pairing for Tuscan-sausages & peppers w/creamy mash. The flavors of this Nebbiolo are so alive that they danced effortlessly with the sautéed peppers and complimented the herbs in the locally made Tuscans. Just wow…1 ‘12 remains plus 2 ‘10’s. — 4 years ago
2018 vintage. Haven’t tasted the 2018 Gravelly Meadow but RRT is more forward drinking-with oodles of berries and earth-than the 2018 Volcanic Hill (usually the fave of the three). Silky finish with that light, yet expressive, Diamond Creek body that they’re known for. — 4 years ago
Happy Friday!
Been having a lot of Blanc Brut lately. Sooo good to get back to one of our favorite N/V Rosé Champagne’s.
Numerous, numerous notes stand.
Tonight; Blood orange, pink grapefruit covered in an ice cream creamsicle, volcanic, powdery chalkiness, sea fossils, pink roses, excellent acidity and balance, elegance and polish for days.
Photos of; amazing sunset shot of one of Billecart’s Grand Cru vineyards, two shots inside the House of Billecart and the grounds of Billecart. — 6 years ago
