drinking at courtney’s for her birthday but can’t find her on here so that’s lame. — 6 years ago
Bandol: pink or white.
It’s a slight culture shock as a moron gringo in the South of France when wines by the glass are identified not by producer or even by grape but simply by place. Bandol didn’t mean much to me as a place, I drove through it en route to Toulon from Marseille but that was about it. Probably it was the fact that it was a vague homonym for bandit drew me to it — which is admittedly kind of lame, but the wine seemed to deliver. Any more than the progeny of any other Mediterranean town would have? Je ne sais pas. But this wine right here is a phenomenal rosé.

Explosive! If you’re lame you’re gonna write this off as sauv blanc and I’ll be laying in wait to buy all the cases of this electric mineral bomb. Very unique. So much going on it’s a little early to say what is going to happen with this wine — 8 years ago
Stunning wines. But really @Delectable Wine - why did I get a pop up ad when I went to post this wine? That is BS. Happens again - I am out. Lame. I hope others take note. — 9 years ago

Two glasses in and I'm buzzed the vintage is a little lame but this is ok — 10 years ago
Great random wine drinking to hot and still it was show the quality I give 90 but I think 93 at least but my mistake on holliday and no way of knowing — 3 years ago
Anyone who thinks Pinot Gris is a lame apple-flavored substitute for white wine needs to try this. Very fragrant with aromas of peaches, apricots, pear, petrol, and to no one's surprise, calcareous minerals. Background notes of baking spices and honey. Oily, acidic finish characteristic of Alsatian whites. It's also unfair to rate this against the world's finest Rieslings and Chardonnays, so I completely disagree with those who give it a mere 89-91. I also think with age, this would skyrocket to a 95+ wine. — 5 years ago

Bought a case of these at release price for the sole purpose of flipping since some folks are willing to pony up for Spectators #1 of the year. But curiosity got the better of me. Had to see what a # 1 $95.00 wine taste like, you have to be kidding me😳😳, # 1 ?!!
I thought Parkers 96 for Caymus 40th was ridiculous, this takes the cake, totally lame wine — 9 years ago

Okay day two is definitely better for this bottle, but still can’t see $100.00 & # 1 wine
Time to pop the good stuff,
Originally rated a 94 by RP, but time in the bottle has helped tremendously,
This needs at least 10 years, then the original low professional scores really don't apply, the 08 was rated even lower but at this point is a notch above this 06, don't let the low ratings on these older ones scare you, it just means you're going to pay less for them,
Nice to see this App is still not working correctly, what do you expect for free🤷♂️#lame — 9 years ago
Perfect rose, plenty of flavor, round barn/dairy nose. Totally judged it as lame from label— my bad! Love it ! — 6 years ago
When first opened it was generic and lame but with an hour it is really turning into something special. Beautiful nose (albeit showing a lot of vanilla and oak) but with Bolgheri class. Saline, red cherry and cola followed by mild dill. It is a beautifully crafted wine that needs time to show itself. I would love to see this in 10 years. Modern and seriously well built. Class act — 6 years ago
The label is lame, but unsurprisingly that had no impact on the actual wine! Very nice citrus aroma with lots of grapefruit. Strong acidity and just sweet enough. Great for pizza night, but could handle something more complex. — 7 years ago
Tasty afternoon orange. — 8 years ago
Couldn't hold out any longer, I've had this at least 7-10 days now,
Great cork for a 22 year old bottle, juice is great! No brown or bricking of the wine. Someone stored this properly.
Old school 13.2 abv,
I look forward to the day Delectable realizes technology is beyond 1995 and updates their site so I can actually receive notifications,🙄 lame — 9 years ago

You would love this wine @Ron R , classic napa. If I was guaranteed all napa 95's would be this good I'd buy cases, but we all know its a crap shoot with older California juice, just glad to get a good one, obviously not purchased from benchmark.

@Eric S found it on winebid, only $80.00 so It was worth the risk, I've had more toasted wine from @Benchmark Wine Group than from all other auction & retailers put together,

During a food tour in Florence, at the store owned by this producer. A surprisingly classy Chianti- classico and riserva versions both excellent. Points for cost/benefit ratio. — a year ago
