Maybe not yet very complex, but so enjoyable ❤️ — 8 years ago
2020 vintage. Investigating +-$20 red Bordeaux, part two. PNP. Some decent depth for the price. Medium body. Good concentration. A little, minty note amongst the chunk. Finish hangs in there for a spell. In this price range, would tap this again. 5.28.24. — 10 months ago
1985 Domaine Des Chezaux Griotte-Chambertin. Lunch at Tap while DS was visiting. He was super excited abt this wine. Exceptional. Didn’t decant. Drank straight away. — 6 years ago
On tap. One of the original greats. Dank, juicy, crunk. #threefloyds #paleale — 7 years ago
Love this wine. Would have a keg on tap, if possible. Perfect combo of lightness supported with a solid skeleton and sinewy muscle. Dusty red fruits with a bit of grip. Pleasing in the most positive meaning of the word. — 5 years ago
1990 DRC Richebourg. Lunch at Tap while DS was visiting. Drank this side by side to the 1985 Griotte-Chambertin. Hard to pick a fave- they were very different. This one had much more fruit and texture to it and I might have favored it slightly. — 6 years ago

This was my rating 6 years ago. A perfect 10. Now, I’d say (and thanks Spinal Tap) an 11! Thanks Lenny for an awesome dinner:
The nose immediately established this CDP as royalty, and the palate followed accordingly. Silky smooth, big and round. Black fruit, Asian spice, black truffles. Pure as heck, layered with so much going on while your nostrils are sending your brain unseen before signals of red flowers, bacon frying and fairy dust. Should not have been better than the ‘01 but it was unanimous winner blind. — a month ago
