The OG before the label change. Just stunning and so toasty. Brioche, saline and super elegant. Such fine bubbles. So so good. Likely the first vintage I ever sold. — 10 months ago

A 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and (Pinot) Meunier; mostly sourced from the 2011 vintage (40%) with the balance from 2010 and 2009.
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The C. de Pinots NV pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe apple, toasted brioche, split almonds and lemon bar and spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. The DNA is there and showing a slightly more oxidative style. Drink now. Disgorged July 2016. — 10 days ago
dfp ~$35/bottle , loved! a little floral — 4 months ago
Terrific aromatic intensity with minerals, meyer lemon, sea air and more. Usually needs to open aromatically. The palate is a wonder. Classic PF finesse and airiness along with massive power and depth. Sapid and long. This needs mega air but the quality is off the charts. Today is all toast and razors. Nose is gorgeous. Salted cream. Unreal minerality. Great acid and length. Killer energy. — 23 days ago

2016 vintage. From a magnum. Medium body. Built for the long haul and not stopping at any of the stations near you-now or anytime soon. Dark fruits and earth but no one aspect leaping out. Team effort and in exactly zero rush to arrive. 3.27.26. — 16 days ago
