Blend of blend of 60% Carricante, 25% Catarratto, 10% Grecanico and 5% Minnella, aged in French oak for 10 months. Pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits adding honeysuckle blossom. On the palate flavors of apple, apricot and lemon citrus with creamy vanilla wrapped in generous acidity, long finish ending with wet stone minerality. Nice! — 24 days ago
Fun wine - grapefruit, pear, hint of marzipan and quince on the nose. Nice back bone of acidity with balance fruit and spice. — a month ago
We had this at GIANNA in New Orleans and it was spectacular! — 2 months ago
The nose is evocative of autumn on multiple sensory levels, with aromas of fennel fronds, chamomile tea, almonds, and tangerine that lead into a full but delicately rendered palate. Vitorchiano’s volcanic soils come through with a somber smoke-iron interplay, and glowing acidity lets the savory flavors coat the mouth, yet the overall impression is one of freshness and drinkability. — a month ago
Robust skin contact for weeks - array of rich mountain herbs, nuts, tannins. Not a wall flower! — 2 months ago
