I was going through my La Chapelle section today and my eyes got stuck on this 1999 - bottle looked absolutely pristine and I decided it was a perfect age to drink. Cork was in great condition and the wine was powerful and youthful with no signs of oxidation. Could have kept the bottle for a few more years, but it was probably perfect today. All the complex leathery earthy goodness you expect from this wine was there. — 3 months ago
Deep golden in color with more body and intensity than a Chardonnay. Asian apple and some apricot on the palate. Neutral oak provides umami as well. This wine is in it’s ideal drinking window! — 6 months ago
One of the best Champagne’s I’ve had this year, 2014 disgorgement 48mois Les Roises is impeccable, with captivatingly complex aromatics and both richness and purity. It’s deep and enveloping with such textual detail, satiny and vinous with superb fruit definition, old vine concentration and a chalky mineral core. This has always been my favorite cuvée from Olivier Collin—more demonstrative than Les Enfers with that sunny southern exposure always shining through. If Montrachet could sparkle here you have it. — 2 months ago

Can only repeat the comments here of orchard fruit and luxurious perlage. Have wanted to drink one of these for years and felt it perhaps didnt live up to the hype. For the money there are much better Champagnes — a day ago
