Tablas Creek Vineyard

Côtes de Tablas Blanc White Rhone Blend 2020

- 38% Viognier 32% Grenache Blanc 22% Marsanne 8% Roussanne. Nose has wet hay, marzipan, fresh and fermented pear, wet limestone. Fairly intense but lovely and balanced in the mouth. A bit of unripe pear fruit, grapefruit zest, loads of stony minerality taking over as the finish progresses, with a nice bitter prickle at the end. Very nice acids. I like this a lot. — 11 days ago

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Sangiovese 2020

Vintage 2020 | Elegant spicyness. High acidity that does not disturb at all with food. Paired with steak tartare, salad and frites. At Vin/Perdu in Oud Turnhout. — 18 days ago

Neus prachtig, enorm hoge zuurgraad, niks van te merken bij steak tartare. Gewoon elegant en kruidig.

Justification Paso Robles Cabernet Franc-Merlot 2017

Decanted for 90 minutes and could use more. Oaky nose. Intense, fruity dark chocolate. Insane. — 17 days ago

Reserve Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Tannins soft, fruit in check. Had a dusty finish that could have been Rutherford. But lacked the expected intensity and complexity of a reserve. — 13 days ago

Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

9.1

Stylistically similar to Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon. Rich and fruit forward with loads of oak influences. Probaly slightly more jammy than Caymus, it also has a bit more minerality nuance.
Undeniably delicious and easy to drink, it might benefit from several more years of bottle age.
