Louis M. Martini

California Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Deep Ruby red color, blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with a splash of Petite Sirah, with aromas of dark fruit, floral and oaky herbs. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cherry and sweet currants with cacao and espresso notes. Full-body, good balanced, fine tannins on a medium+ finish ending a bit spicy and oak character. Nice Value! — 14 days ago

Lot No. 1 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

As a nod to Karen (who some will remembered worked at Louis M. Martini decades ago—and is the nicest and best person to ever work in the wine industry) we opened this for my birthday. Paired it with a Tri Tip. It was a nice pairing. Good cab. It was better a couple years ago but still nice to drink for a special occasion. — 5 months ago

Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Wife pulled@from@cellar. Said she checked before opening and it was a $40 bottle. I enjoyed it very much. Been a minute for wine. Helped lube the wife up a bit. — 2 months ago

Monte Rosso Mountain Red Blend 2011

Pulled the 2011 out of the cellar. What a treat. Great dark berries and plum. Tannins have pretty much dissipated with age. Nice oak. Just what I was hoping it would taste like. The fruit and vanilla on the nose is amazing. — 2 months ago
