Ruby with elegant red fruit aromas and gentle floral spice, aged for 11 months in 30% new French oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry and strawberry with notes of herb pepper, licorice with wet stone notes. Soft full tannins on a long finish ending with fruit and savory earthy mineral notes. Pale salmon color with aromas of fruit and floral notes. Fermented bone dry in stainless steel, on the palate flavors of strawberry and cherry, some citrus notes wrapped in vivid acidity. Smooth character, not overpowering, medium finish ending with a floral mineral character. — 4 months ago

i’ve rated this wine before – this exact vintage – and I gave it lower ratings. I don’t know if this wine is just improving with age or my taste buds are changing, but this is among the top Pinots I’ve ever had. I’m giving it a 9.6 this time around. This is the best that Willamette has to offer. And it’s better than 99% of the other Pinots I’ve tasted. If you like tight pucker-arsed Pinots this is NOT for you. Absolutely luscious! — a day ago
