Only regret was not holding onto this jewel longer. — 8 months ago
I think this is my first time trying a wine from the Juffer vineyard in Brauneberg, in the Mosel valley. This wine is shockingly enjoyable, a great tonic to a stressful week, with an overriding impression of salinity both on the nose and palate, as well as effusive aromas of lime and nectarines. The palate is, again, salty, with joyful harmony between fruit and acid - this leans toward the drier end of the Prädikat and, in an acidic vintage such as 2021, it provides a superbly tense, exciting riesling that’ll go well with Indian food tonight. This is up there with the finest young Kabinetts that I’ve tried.

Suuper reductive, with funky notes of petrol and sour cream. Quite spritely too - almost lemonade-like. The palate is intense, concentrated, powerful and acidic and honestly quite inscrutable at this stage. Wow, this is a serious Riesling that demands patience. 90++ — 2 years ago

Travel-fatigued, I looked after glass two and discovered it was not Fritz Haag! — 10 months ago

Love that petrol taste in German Riesling. Lots of sugar but high in acidity. — 20 days ago
