This bottle was significantly better than the previous bottle I had… Fabulous mouthfeel, and fruit — a month ago

Heron Lake Vineyard Chardonnay 2020

Quite Chablis like. Just 600 bottles made. Not super complex. More on the subtle side. Lemon and touch herbs 🌿. 12.8%. One of the the producers which are on the burgh side of the spectrum. — 5 months ago

Paolo Bea

San Valentino Sangiovese Blend 2017

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90 minutes. The 2017 San Valentino pours a slightly hazy, ruby color with medium+ viscosity and light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart, red fruit: sour Montmorency cherry, wood varnish, horse blanket, black licorice, old wood, and stony earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and zippy. One of the more wild vintages of San Valentino I’ve ever had and this bottle wasn’t quite as good as the one I had a couple years back. Drink now and enjoy what nature gave to Paolo and Giampiero. — 7 days ago

Central Coast Pinot Noir 2021

Worth $13. Wonderful pinot, very enjoyable, not overly dry, not overly jammy or sweet. Jen got this bottle from CCSM womens event. — 8 months ago

Dog Point Vineyard

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2023

3.0. A good Marlboro Sauvignon Blanc, but a little dull. On sale for $22.99, usually $26.99. — 3 months ago

Dog Point Vineyard

Section 94 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2019

A bit reductive/flinty. Textural, mineral. Not giving up much fruit. High acid. Thankfully none of that cheap NZ gooseberry or cat piss. Pretty nice now with food. I think it I’ll save my next bottle until 2026. — 4 months ago
