Champagne tasting 🍾: super dirty — 8 months ago
Nose - watermelon. Tasting notes - raspberry and peach with some healthy sugar/sweetness but not cloying. So fun! — 4 years ago
Toasty and delish — 6 years ago
A bit too direct and rocky for me. Definitely a style. It was bracing and the acid high. It did have an interesting nose of terroir — 6 years ago
Had at Ellsworth lunch in Paris. No dosage. Good price. — 7 years ago
Brut Zero Rosé from Tarlant. Grower Champagne with an even split of Pn and Chard; 5% Meunier too. Zero dosage. Terrific bottle of Grower Champagne. Each glass got better and better. Great fruit and great acidity.l — 4 months ago

Single-barrel scarcity makes this a “must try.” It generates a meaningful event and a good disruption on the palate.
Green apples combine with melon and bright acidity - the signature of a typical SB. Moderately sweet. Serve it to those who appreciate uncommon excellence in wine. Approach the winery for this. — 4 years ago

I love this wine.

Aperitive bubble for this year's new year's eve party. Only nosing and dipping my lips. Oxidative nose, green apple. Dry palate with drive. Palate cleanser. Superb! — 6 months ago
Intensely mineral and dry, some red fruit. — 3 years ago
Beautiful expression of the terroir and grape—so alive. Great acidity. Cherry and strawberry primarily. Medium-plus tannins. Chalky earthiness married to faint but heavy flowers—violet and hibiscus. The faintest whiff of cedar and tobacco hits as one drops the glass. — 5 years ago
Awesome. Herbaceous and minty but lush and textural. Rivals champagne for sure, with a little something extra and unusual that the latter can’t provide. — 5 years ago
Degoured May 2017. Excellent zero dosage crisp and clear, with lemon undertones and a smooth finish. Would love to remember where we purchased this from so we can get more! — 7 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The NV Brut Nature pours a faint pink color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with winsome notes of ripe berries: raspberry, strawberry, white peach, lemon curd, brioche and minerals. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and despite the zero dosage, the fruit comes across almost round…but in a really good and balanced way. Damn…I love Drappier! Drink now. — 2 months ago
