Tenuta San Guido

Guidalberto Toscana Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2020

Brooding dark fruit, cocoa powder and a hint of balsamic on the nose. Great acidity and length. Showing Tuscan terrior with Bordeaux varieties exceptionally. Bravo 👌 — 2 years ago

Paolo Scavino

Barolo Nebbiolo 2018

Wonderful Barolo- light bodied but full of flavor. Enjoying the 2018 vintage. Perfect pairing with the Veal. Will definitely order again. — 2 years ago

Cavallotto

Vigna San Giuseppe Riserva Bricco Boschis Barolo Nebbiolo 2015

Big cherry palette forward and due to a hot growing season, this juice is ready now.. Unusual for a Riserva to be approachable at 8 years. — 2 years ago

Zenato

Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Corvina Blend 2017

Cedar, tobacco, vanilla, myriad of sweet spices, 16.5% alcohol is not prevalent and tastes closer to 15. Of the Amarone that I’ve had this would be my pick to keep a couple of bottles in the cellar — 2 years ago

Château Beychevelle

Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

9.2

Nice but could be even better with food. Meaty and savory, whiff of petrol, herb, graphite, grippy tannins. — 2 years ago

Pierre Péters

Cuvée de Réserve Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Champagne Chardonnay

Grand cru, Blanc de Blanc grower! Impeccable balance and so easy to drink. Paired this with caviar and baked snow crab legs with olive oil and Old Bay. Really living our best life over here. — 2 years ago

Château Lynch-Moussas

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

I opened this with the Coravin a few weeks ago for a glass but I didnt like it that much. It was closed completely.
But today it really rocks! Coffee, chocolate, pencil, dark fruit. In the mouth you notice the youth however it is drinking smoothly with black fruit and some milkchocolate. I will not touch the other bottles for some years.

Yum!

Domaine Jamet

Côte-Rôtie Syrah 2016

Let breath for 2 days. Still could have used a 3rd but we are impatient. Deep dank sensual purple fruited powerhouse. Wanted to sit with this wine for hours. Each sip revealed more of its complex bouquet. Tannins got the best of us and had to move back to white wine. Thx Cerasulo. — 2 years ago
