A solid 9.0. Tasting slightly chilled and still lovely #barbaresco with secondary and tertiary notes. Other people have described it here on #Delectable spot on. Little bit of #VA bit just right, hints of toast and coffee, but just right, firm tannins but ripe and adding personality to the wine — 5 years ago
Dried cherry, leather, sandalwood, caramel, faint potpourri notes on the nose. Maroon fading to brick red on edges of the glass, medium light body, more earthy & savory on the palate, nice frame of medium acidity ending with robust mouth-coating tannins but still a far cry from a young Barolo. I’m experiencing why #barbaresco is such a food friendly wine - set off so well with herby Porchetta and cremini mushroom creamy pasta. — 4 years ago
Garnet hue; candied black cherry, blackberry, blueberry, plum, and black currant, honey, dark chocolate, saddle leather, black licorice, dried sage, and lavender notes. Medium acidity on the palate. Vintage 2013. ABV 14.5%.

Pale ruby with garnet secondary hues. Nose has candied cherries, peat, smoke meat, leather, toast, nutmeg, and tobacco. Palate is balanced with medium acidity and tannins. Smooth and elegant finish. #barbaresco #vignesparse #cantinadelglicine #nebbiololife #nebbiolo#winesofitaly #piedmontwine — 5 years ago
A beautiful wine with time its friend. Aromas of violets, roses and cherries with a touch of cinnamon and black pepper. Mint on the palate alongside kirsch, tar, cranberry and dried herbs. I would have liked a little more fruit but undoubtedly a beautiful expression of #barbaresco #drinksatantonios — 5 years ago
Tasted blind .. thought it was a 2016 it was still so fresh and young. Popped and poured, beautiful nose of candied cherries, plums. Earthiness and a touch of herbs and mint. On the palate still real tight with plenty of grip! #rizzi #barbaresco (will try after one day open) — 5 years ago
#floral #tart and jammy, structured tannins. textbook style #barbaresco #nebbiolo , 2016 vintage — 5 years ago
Potent and riveting. Medicinal concentration, announced by aromas of camphor and hot tar. Saturated and dark color for Barbaresco, but it’s not overmacerated. Mace, porcini, tea rose and umeboshi plum. Massive structure, with the immense richness already winning the battle against substantial tannins. Drink it now, drink it over 25 years. Superior. #ronchi #barbaresco #nebbiolo — 6 years ago

Red cherry nose expands to red dye, portobello, morel and walnut shell. Dried rose petal and twisted violet petal open to soft pork and beef grilled sweetness, and loam. Lurking sensualities; dried cherries persist. A mix of cherries in varied stages of ripeness and raisination stitch themselves together in liquid satin and come so close to perfection, but there is a slight unraveling context on the finish that doesn’t disappoint, just asks for follow through. Probably comes around in time as the tannins are rustic and the wine from a stellar vintage.
