Anjou Chenin Blanc 2018

Confiture, confit, deep, comfort, warm.
Very yummy, excellent value for likers of orange wines aka white wines macerated on their skin.
Yet another take on the Chenin grape that keeps pleasing me.

Coume de L'Olla Blanc Macabeo Muscat Petit Grain 2021

@Peter van den Besselaar would call this “frivolous”. Light tannin, easy drinking. #orangewine — a year ago

In my last tasting I got a lot of comments, romo, for what I thought frivolous 👯‍♀️ was not recognized by some others 🤭

In my case, and I believe in yours as well, this word is not a pejorative. Though, I can see how others may interpret it as such. Many wines, esp natural or vin de table, etc, provide joy but do not take themselves too seriously.. frivolous. 🤓

Very well made #orangewine #skincontact #verdejo everything this winery makes is good. They’re Verdejo specialists. I enjoyed this wine very much. If there were a but, it would be that I would like more acidity and there seems to be a bit of residual sugar. It’s dry technically speaking, but you can notice the sweet touch — 3 years ago

Le Mole Malvasia 2016

Vintage 2016 - mahony colour, way too young, but beautiful smell with muscat and roses. Still tannic. Bitters. Much concentration. Wow, really much character. #orangewine — 6 years ago
