Plush black currant, stewed plums, slight tobacco, spice and tar on the nose of this #stellenbosch #merlot. Delicious tart structure on the palate offset by rich primary fruit and some earth plus medium tannins. Delicious wine and very good QPR. — 4 years ago

#stellenbosch #cabernetsauvignon - Black fruit, some toast and spice on the nose. Proportional, medium-bold body and fine tannins on the finish. — 3 years ago
The first time I tasted this I wasn’t too impressed. I was expecting a ripe #cabernetfranc from California in my mind. I just tasted it blind among other #cabernetblends and it was one of the best. Deep ruby color with pronounced aromas of black fruit with savoury meaty (Bolognesa, Beef Bourginon) flavors. High fine grained tannins. #southafrica #stellenbosch — 4 years ago

Food-friendly #stellenbosch estate #cheninblanc - baked apple, honey and soft white flowers on the nose. Delicious bright acidity, steely apple on the tongue. Strong estate offering for the price - paired pretty well with a Manchurian cauliflower and rice dish picking up the tart notes in the sauce and enough verve to complement the Asian spices. ~$13 at Total Wine. — 4 years ago
Very interesting #merlot from #stellenbosch #southafrica i didn’t particularly like it the first time I tasted it with Coravin, but today I opened it with a stew with red peppers and it was heaven. Highly recommendable with stews and game. — 5 years ago
