This is a medium-bodied, light wine with flavors of stone fruits. The tannins do seem higher than most whites and the after taste is mildly acidic. — 2 years ago
Course 2 wine. With corn chowder and a sea scallop. Wonderful with food, but I think would do very well on its own. Nice minerality on the finish. — 3 years ago
I normally do not like a Cab that’s not blended with something but this is a special one indeed with bold fruit forward and unassuming cherry that floats all over the top. — 5 years ago
How do you not love these Alto Adige wines? Light garnet in the glass with thin edges and a soft violet undertone. And what to say about this nose? Gorgeous red fruits, strawberry lemonade, fresh herbs, and a definite floral influence. I know and love Lagrein but I’m a relative newcomer to Schiava. Striking a nice balance between rustic earthiness and wonderfully bright fruit, this charms with simplicity but there’s a lot more to it beneath the surface. Deliciously feminine and supremely dry, the luscious mouthfeel leads to a textured palate. Cranberry, ripe cherry, and wild strawberry mingle with allspice and underbrush. If you can’t tell, I love this wine. And so should you. — 7 years ago
Do i know the Grape YES named after the poet Justinus Kerner. A cross of a red grape Trollinger and Riesling from the Weinsberg Wein Institut. I got super drunk there trying 25 wines in the 80’s a trip with my fraternity - Kaffir lime. Touch of peach and green mango (no petrol ⛽️ so this is bs from some other friends). Grapefruit zest. Quite topical! A SUPER deal!!!!!!!!🦋🦋🦋🦋. Seems to do super well in Tirol / Alto Adige but losing his footprint in Germany. — 8 years ago
Deep, golden-hue in color, the 2020 Terlano “Kreuth” (100% Chardonnay) is a lush, full-bodied example of the variety. Hints of star fruit and bright citrus notes greet the nose, but it’s on the palate where this wine be shinin’ right now. Full-bodied, rich and glorious is the texture, pinned down by an uncanny mineral-driven sense of place. I learned a long time ago that you just can’t write-off ANY of the Chardonnay that comes from the Alto-Adige region of Italy- or ANYWHERE from Italy for that matter. As it breathes it comes into its own, changing with every breath and reinforcing itself on the finish. See simply: do not overlook. — 8 months ago
Second vintage we’ve had. We’ll do another. — 3 years ago
On Rhonda’s birthday, we just decided to do a little South American restaurant and bring along wines from the same region - the Don Melchor reserve cab has actually improved from a few years ago - opened and let catch it’s breath while we’re having a tasty chard and what do you know - first sip was Divine- truly an great example of why we on delectable take the time to post about our treats - finally I am lucky man -married 30 years and she is like wine I am mentioning - she gets better everyday - well played Mike - love you babe - happy birthday — 6 years ago
The only kerner I’ve ever had is abazzia and to have this one shows me what the varietal can do. Textured, layered, lemon, chalk, nice acid. — 8 years ago

Always a classic, Vorberg always delivers and does do here with more approachable 2022 fruit! — a year ago
Served quite chilled - rave reviews from all. Absolutely delicious. Beautiful, fresh, crisp. Absolute do-over. — 4 years ago
Really good value for a really good wine, Sicily seems the area that can do that. Spicy, easy drinking. — 6 years ago
Light and delicious (I don’t know wine vocabulary very well but I do have good taste) — 8 years ago
Bought it because it was on sale for $8.99 and I do like white wines plus I had never seen it before. I didn't know what to expect because the label says Pinot Grigio and Moscato. Only bought 1 bottle to try it and was pleasantly surprised crisp and refreshing not as sweet as I thought it was going to be but I prefer it like that. Went back to buy the last 2 bottles that's how good I thought it was. — 8 years ago

A complex and juicy Portuguese transmontano. It’s apparently been aged over 100 years. It has distinct tart notes of cherry, strawberry and a little orange peel that are smoothed over with hints of clove and vanilla. — 8 months ago
