No notes. Beef jerky & dark cherries, on nose & palate. Thinner concentration I had hoped for, but suspect age, air and/ or long decant will bring it together — 4 months ago
The 2013 Brut Rosé Millésimé Amour de Deutz shows a bit more seriousness than the last time I tasted it, about two years ago. It remains a gracious, lifted Rosé, but time has amplified the mineral edge such that the 2013 today is quite nervy and brilliant, with little, if any, loss of freshness. Cranberry, mint, orange peel, white flowers and crushed rocks all race through to the intensely saline, sculpted finish. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2023)

So great after all these years. Rip Mike — 4 months ago
Lovely, classy Beaujolais village level gamay, 2020 vintage enjoying early in 2024.
Goes well with cheese and crackers and staying indoors on cold winter nights. — 6 months ago
Very much on the dark, earthy, minerally side. So dark and full of smoky ember crushed stone that I’d almost be tempted to place it half-way around the world in Walla Walla. Palate is rich and dark, a highlights more savory minerally notes than fruit. Distinctive and good but not a typical fruity Crozes. — 7 months ago

What a treat. A gorgeous, crystalline blonde in the glass with persistent perlage. This nose is incredible with aromas of white flowers and lemon zest initially. Apricots and peaches. Herbs and beautiful streaks of honey. The citrus notes are intoxicating and I could just sit and smell this all day long. There’s a bit of warm brioche just for good measure.
A pure and elegant expression of Chardonnay. Creamy and well balanced, this is just such a delightful champagne. Never heavy, this floats in the air. Incredibly fresh and alive. Very accessible at this point despite being so young. The palate is smooth, yet energetic with more citrus and yellow apples. More honey and minerality. The finish is long and oh so delicate. A shining star. — 16 days ago
