2016 marvellous vintage in Chianti 100%, and mostly everywhere in Italy i would say

Jul 2025; one hour decant, very nice classic Barolo, traditional style, on the elegant side. Very good balance of everything, long and textbook aftertaste, singing now but can age more to improve a little — 6 years ago

Decanted an hour and then drank over 1.5 hours. The tannins mellowed and fruit shone. This was very good but not blockbuster — 5 days ago
