One of the better wines I’ve had this year (delayed post from Dec ‘22) and a total surprise. From the Keknyelu grape planted in the volcanic hilly region on the north shore of Lake Balaton. Something between carricante and Silvaner. Smells and tastes intensely like wet basalt. Subtle hints of pineapple and stone fruit. Light. Lovely. — 2 years ago
Not Syrah, Heja orange wine.
Pink grapefruit, green tea, orange peel, tart strawberry, plum. Great acids. 05/19/23 at Agi’s Counter. — a year ago

So happy to pair this Hungarian Pinot Noir with Christmas dinner - bacon-wrapped rosemary pork tenderloin, cranberry sauce and twice baked potatoes. Reminds me of red burgundy but with more dried cranberry, spice and everything nice,, including some fizz. @Delectable Wine it’s a red — 2 years ago
