I don’t appreciate buttery and oaky Chardonnay. This excellent Chardonnay has reduced the traditional characters and highlights
notes of honeysuckle,apple and Meyer lemon. Flavors of sickle pear, citrus and a dash of salt. A subtle blend of mineral and acidity. Excellent pairing with Thanksgiving. — 5 years ago

Drank this vintage with good friends who are constantly introducing bottles who are part of the duckhorn delivery club or whatever subsidiary duckhorn has. They opened it at the end of dinner. Honestly this was bottle number 2 after 3 NEIPAs already onboard. It was very smooth, fruity, incredibly balanced and I dont think any of us even put our glasses down while enjoying. Dark ripe fruits, bit of earthiness in the nose, tannin forward on the first sip, complex flavor burst in the mouth, tannin quickly dissipates and left with warm happiness.. great dipping wine by itself rather than pairings with food at least for me — 6 months ago

Warm and toasty with a bit of a back of the throat cayenne pinch. It’ll week on the structure but good juice and warm round fruit flavors. Good vanilla and some baking spices as well. Big and brassy, hot as in the alcohol coming off of this thing is noticeable. — 5 years ago

Vino rojo-purpura con destellos violetas muy brillantes, en nariz resalta la ciruela negra antes de ser pasa y los frutos rojos, la pimienta, el romero, detectó cardamomo, hierbabuena y un poco de tostado, en boca muy aterciopelado (casi cosquilloso), taninos medios y chocolate negro (de los finos) y un final largo.
