Light gold color, young and fresh. High-pitched, fruit-forward nose. Notes of lemon, sea breeze, wet stone, candied fruit, some white clay soil and a hint of honey. Nice weight and mouth feel. Solid finish. In a good drinking window, but this baby has a lot of enjoyment time in front of it. — 2 years ago
Opened after an 05 Forets was found to be corked. 3 hours in a decanter. Light straw gold and youthful in the glass. Medium weight. Nice nose. Notes of citrus, white clay, tan spice, some light apricot, some river stones and some sea breeze. Rich and full of energy in the mouth. This is good now but still early in its life. — 3 years ago
Smokey, cocoa, black and red cherries and a beautiful stoniness. Wonderful florals as well. Leather as well. Juicy, bright and textured with terrific purity and freshness. Wow this is juicy and long. So so nimble. Excellent length. Really so complete. Lovely mid palate and just so elegant. This is best bottle yet. — 2 years ago
Light gold color. Killer Chablis nose comes on after 3 hours of air. Notes of apricot, wet river stone, citrus, honey, white Kimmeridgian clay, sea shells, and tan spice. Has nicely developed secondary notes, and this is just starting to hit its stride. Rich and powerful. I think with about 5 more years the 2002 Raveneaus will start hitting their mark in a big way. — 3 years ago
A very well balanced wine that has good fruit throughout. Slight bit of black cherry that stays stays throughout the palate the fruit lunges and the wine finishes with a tough of dryness. — 4 months ago
Decanted for 3 hours. Canary gold color. Bright and fresh. Fruit forward nose. Notes of lemon curd, white peach, sea shells, wet river stone and tan spice. Very luscious in the mouth. More fruit than acidity. This went quickly as the team tonight was thirsty. — 2 years ago

A lovely wine. Raspberries, black cherries, and plums. I slightly prefer the 2016, but this is still an excellent wine. — 2 months ago
