This is a very elegant style of Brunello. Nose has sultry macerated dark cherry, terra cotta tile earthiness, some gorgeous sweet spice notes. In the mouth it’s soft, medium-full, and has some nice complexity. Notes of earthy gravel and porcini mushroom to go along with the rich fruit. Tannins are soft but still provide a nice tactile reference point. Acids are soft. Lengthy finish. — 2 months ago
Beautiful and even elegant, which is a descriptor that not many Pinot Meunier’s often get. Lovely aromatics, incredible texture, great balance. — a year ago

Deep ruby, and a nose redolent with aromas of plum, blackberry, black cherry, leather, forest floor and stony minerality. Plush, velvety tannins give the wine great body though it could use a touch more acidity to be outstanding. Really enjoyable and a long finish — a great bargain for this under-appreciated grape. — 3 days ago
