The color of weak coffee with some bottle of the bottom gunk. Va on the nose and light notes of roses and dried fruit. On the palate very pure and lifted. Obviously aged but softening with air and bright and pretty. What a surprise given it’s a centurion. — a month ago
2018, pale and earthy color, light but intense, not much complexity but just enough. — a month ago

Elegant wine from La Morra with taste of raspberries, dried cherries, black tea.
Ripe but not the greatest Barolo I had.

Dig the chewy mineral more intense than years past — a month ago
Soft brown in color. Toasted notes with dried fruit, soft plum, tar and some high toned acidity. A slightly austere palate but a haunting fragrant quality. Very pretty. You need to lean in a bit to see the beauty — a month ago
Interesting to taste. It reminds of some PiWi varieties. Less pleasant to drink and to enjoy. — 19 days ago
Dense and masculine. Broad white thick fruit. Nice rounded edges. Lacks a little of the complexity of the 67 and 64 but good solid fruit. — a month ago
Fantastic! Perfect balance. — 3 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2022 pours, a deep, ruby/purple color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with a mix of tart and ripe, mostly black with some blue fruits: black berries, plums, black licorice, Alpine herbs and purple flowers and dried earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium- tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finishes medium. Overall, this is an impressive Dogliani and I’d gladly take more of this in my life. Drink now. — 15 days ago
