Initial overtones red fruit on the nose that suddenly shifts to undertones of menthol, bergamot and menthol. Fuller bodied than you might expect. Raspberry and cranberry tartness and purple flowers like lilac on the palette. You feel the 14.5% a bit but still a great wine. — 5 years ago

Very dark ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry, strawberry and toasted oak. On the palate, it mirrors the nose with the fruit, oak and some vanilla to round it out. Medium to fuller body and well balanced. Smooth tannins and a medium to shorter finish. A nice easy drinking wine at this price point of $25 at total wine. — 4 years ago

Could not see that I have rated this vintage on Delectable before. No formal notes. I recall it being fuller and more textural than usual with a certain creaminess. A good blend of citrus and stone fruit with the right amount of French oak. — 3 years ago

Better on day 2 after forgetting to put the cork in overnight. Still opulent as a MF, but some of lush burns off and gets replaced by a decent amount of earth (for Buccella anyway). — 4 years ago
