Wallufer Walkenberg Kabinett Trocken Riesling 2020

Absolutely wonderful bottle! Minerals, salt, hints of lemon and soft fruit. If you’re even in Madison, WI be sure to hit up my friend Andrea at Square Wine. Thoughtful collection of great wine with this being an example, can never go wrong. — 14 hours ago

Epoch Estate Wines

Block B Paso Robles Syrah 2018

2018 vintage. 100% syrah. Willow Creek District. Paderewski Vineyard. Heavy body. Multi-faceted nose. Price has crept up substantially so it is no longer a QPR/bang for the buck darling but is still rocking at full volume. Sometimes, you gotta drop the coin for the concert. 5.29.24. — a month ago

These can be monsters young, but I’m a fan.

Heitz Cellar

Lot C-91 Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Dark ruby color. Aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, black currants/cherries, purple flowers and menthol. Same dark fruits on the palate with additional notes of black olives, tobacco, roasted herbs and black pepper. Meaty texture and a beautiful long and earthy finish. Medium-plus body and rustic/chewy tannins. Complex, concentrated and rich. Excellent! Thanks for sharing James W. — a month ago

Rivers-Marie

B. Thieriot Vineyard Chardonnay 2022

The recently released (3/24) Bodega Theriot Chardonnay from Rivers-Marie is excellent. Sunlit straw color, subtle nose, beautiful white fruits, crushed stone and the slightest bit of oak at the back to round it off. This should gain depth from its existing heights! — 3 months ago
