Really good for the price. Great weeknight wine. — 2 months ago
Don’t buy this. I want it all for myself! It’s really intense and so enjoyable. I will buy a dozen if Costco has in stock. — 4 months ago

6/5/26 home cooked dinner with my love. Melon, black currant, plum. Did not taste licorice hiding in there. Was wonderful. Definitely buy again. . — 24 days ago
Was drunk but remember liking this a lot. Parker thinks he likes it too. — 2 months ago
A bit more effervescent than I want, but this is a great value. Golden apple, brioche, almond, lemon curd. Solid. — 3 months ago

Oak and leather with plum. Rich and bold. — a month ago
2021. Opened while prepping dinner. I figured this big Napa Chardonnay would pair great with the sautéed mushrooms and mushrooms tagliatelle (and it did!), but I was worried about the spicy local ‘Nduja and first farmer’s market asparagus. The wine was great with the pasta. So glad I looked in the discount shopping cart at the grocery store wine shop to see they needed to sell off the last bottle to make some shelf space! — 2 months ago
Basic good Sauvignon blanc. Bargain at Costco for $6.99 — 4 months ago
Lots of mint on the nose (69% Cabernet Sauvignon; 31% Shiraz) together with blackberry. On the palate plenty of drive and power in this Cabernet Shiraz blend - layers of fruit, oak and spice. Rich and full bodied - the perfect accompaniment for a vintage Porterhouse steak - Waygu marbelling. Oak has integrated since the tasting 5 years ago. A pity that it takes 20 years for Yalumba’s Signature red to reach its peak but probably true. Interestingly the wine is matured for 22 months in American, French and Hungarian barrels coopered at Yalumba. This was the last bottle from a dozen originally purchased. — 5 months ago

"Odedi"
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish/ brick rim.
Complex nose of red and black fruits with wood, earth, vegetables, dark coffee, light mildew, spices, tobacco leaf and light forest floor.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cherries, light cedar, earth, herbs, chocolates, licorice and black pepper.
Tangy finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 32 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Carmel Valley is still drinking beautifully, but not at its peak anymore.
Still showing enough fruits for the acidity, tangy and interesting. Complex and very entertaining.
It's always a great experience to drink these kind of aged wines.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from a Single Vineyard. Unfiltered and unfined.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
