Cisplatino Tannat-Merlot Blend 2020

Cute label. Good name. Color is light, but ruby red. Smell is toast with berry-grape jam. Hint of licorice stuff. Flavors are balanced and complex. Licorice and smoke. Flavors are awesome. Interesting and exciting. Bite with perfect berry compote. Cassis in there. Elegant and fresh. Nice stuff. Muy Bueno. — 3 months ago

Pisano

RPF Reserva Personal de la Familia Progreso Tannat 2017

Dark ruby and intense in color. Nose of cigar box and leather which developed and a matured cherry flavour boosted.
A multidimensional palate with good structure of tanins, long finish.
Remarkable.

Bodega Garzon

Reserva Tannat 2020

On the nose, this is frozen raspberry... On the palate, this tastes darker... Blackberry, cranberry... Tree bark, cedar, sawdust... Eucalyptus... Very mushy wood... Pretty big body here though... And the tannins are really contributing to that... Soft, chewy... Medium length with baking spice. — 5 months ago

Carmelo Rodero Crianza Ribera del Duero Tempranillo Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Expressive nose of dark cherries, a hint of blood, present oak, fine tannins, good length and weight, feel the oak a bit toasted and notorious — 3 months ago

Bodega Garzon

Reserva Marselan 2022

Lujan de Cuyo Malbec 2018

Absolutely delicious - one of the wines I’ve been most surprised of recently. Would never have guessed Argentinian Malbec blind - has a real old world character. Probably would have guessed something Italian with the excellent fruit/earth balance and the great lifting acid on the finish. Really very nice, and quite a value at $28. — 8 months ago
