Pretty good — 25 days ago
The ‘21 iteration of this wine is very, very good. Deep dark cherry, veering a little into a whiff of framboise, iodine-tinged minerals. Deep and vigorous in the mouth. Lots of everything, fruit, mineral, acids, tannins. Basically stuffed. Thing is great now and will age for several years, kind of amazingly for a basic annata. — 3 months ago
Red blend that includes several indigenous Portuguese grapes. Dark ruby color. Aromas of ripe red fruit and vanilla. Red and black cherry/currant fruit on the palate with additional notes of baking spices, chocolate and toast. A pleasant hint of vanilla and oak on the long finish. Soft tannins and well balanced/structured. Medium bodied, rich and juicy. Perfectly aged. Another solid vintage of this tremendous Portuguese value red blend. Excellent quality for the $$$. Deep ruby in color; cassis, black plums, and cedar on the nose; high acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like blackberries, black cherries, and graphite with a long finish. Nellie says it's ok. I like it. — a month ago

Sourced from 65 year old vines, sitting in rich clay soils. Medium Ruby with complex aromas of berry fruits, oak and fresh floral scents. On the palate dried tart cherry, tobacco, licorice, espresso and fresh herbs give this full-body wine grace and elegance. Soft fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit and earthy notes, well balanced, enjoyable now and has room to run over the next decade. Very Nice! — 4 months ago
