Orangy red. Cherry, brush, and a hint of anise and vanilla on the nose. Dry. Medium plus alcohol, medium minus acidity. Sour cherry on the palate, not much more. Complexity may develop with time. Medium plus tannins. Nice finish. It's enjoyable.

If a wine smelled like cherry cola spilled on a box of Crayola Crayons and it’s a great thing. — 3 months ago
Very good wine. Enjoyed it with some beef stew. — 19 days ago

This was a purchase from last bottle so I figured I would give it a try. Darker color than expected. Nice taste longer than I like taste. But overall very good. Look forward to purchasing more Barolo from this vineyard. — 19 days ago
Outrageous. So aromatic right out of the bottle — 2 months ago

Stellar Barolo. Definitely of the new school, lighter color, lightly structured, but radiant fruit in a refined style. Decanted 2hrs. Perfect pairing for veal/osso buco, maybe less so for a roast. Some debate whether more age would refine the fruit further or cause it to dissipate. No idea but have two more so can experiment! Made me want to get on an overnight to Piedmont tonight. — a month ago
